The deal for PSG proved to be a vital one, as it came into the ongoing summer transfer window assured that it can build a formidable squad around Neymar for the long term.

In speaking to PSG Talk, Fabrizio Romano provided his take on Neymar’s extension deal with the Ligue 1 giants.
Romano sees that many players in the sport today well aspire to join PSG in order to play alongside Neymar.
Romano added that Neymar is not directly involved in PSG’s transfer activity, such as with actively reaching out to players to convince them to take their talents to the French powerhouse.
However, the sheer presence of Neymar at the club has been one pulling power for PSG in its transfer recruitment as of late.
With Neymar at PSG, the Ligue 1 side has been among the serious contenders in the UEFA Champions League competition.
