Paul Pogba is under contract with Manchester United for one more season. The English club must decide whether they look to secure a transfer sum or hold onto the 28-year-old and risk losing him on a free transfer.
For the Daily Express, the decision is an easy one; The Red Devils need to sell Pogba and recoup part of the £89-million they spent on him in 2016. The newspaper adds that offering an extension to the France international would be a mistake.
Moving on from Pogba would be the ideal decision, claims the media outlet. It would allow for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær to take control of the squad and give it a new identity.
Furthermore, the Express adds that it would be foolish for Manchester United to turn down an offer for Pogba. They go on to say that the Premier League side must realize that it’s time for them to go in a different direction, on that sees Pogba and The Red Devils parting ways permanently.
