Sergio Rico may be the next Paris Saint-Germain talent to leave the club over the ongoing summer transfer window.
With the recent free agent addition of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Rico has now fallen back a spot in PSG’s goalkeeper depth chart.
More so, PSG is reportedly open to transfer offers for the long-time Spanish goalkeeper, especially as playing time minutes will come scarce for him this upcoming season.
Other clubs are closely following Rico’s situation with PSG, including Besiktas. According to a report from the Turkish-based outlet Sporx, the Super Lig powerhouse is well interested in acquiring the PSG goalkeeper on a permanent transfer deal.
Besiktas not only views Rico as a possible potent fit with the team, but club officials are intrigued with the fact that he has a trio of seasons remaining on his current contract deal.
All signs point to Rico soon departing from PSG, and Besiktas is now among the early favorites to sign the veteran goalkeeper.
