Paris Saint-Germain recently released an interview via PSG Le Mag that featured both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
In the interview, Mbappe touched on his aspirations of winning the UEFA Champions League with PSG. This comment did raise some eyebrows, as many presumed that Mbappe was providing a hint of his desire to stay on with PSG in the long term.
For Mbappe’s entourage, they were not pleased with PSG’s decision to make this interview public at this time, as noted by L’Equipe (via RMC Sport).
Mbappe’s interview with PSG Le Mag was recorded in May and released earlier this week. It is currently not known on whether Mbappe made these such comments before or after PSG’s Champions League semifinal tie against Manchester City, where the French powerhouse was eliminated at this stage in the competition.
The representatives of Mbappe see that this interview gives the forward a notable bad image, which would only be further fueled if he goes on to leave PSG.
Overall, PSG still remains on standby, waiting for Mbappe’s final decision on his footballing future with the team.
