The contract extension saga involving Kylian Mbappé continues, and there’s no resolution as to whether the 22-year-old wants to remain with Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappé is back with the capital club squad preparing for the 2021-22 season, but before the matches begin to count, the France international spoke to PSG Le Mag (via Marca) alongside his teammate Neymar Jr.
During the interview, Mbappé discussed the most prominent dream he has with the Ligue 1 giants, which is winning the UEFA Champions League. The young forward reached the final stage in 2020 but fell short, losing to FC Bayern Munich.
“My big dream is to be able to win the Champions League with PSG, it would be something fantastic,” Mbappé said.
Last season, PSG again knocked on the door in the semi-finals before falling to Manchester City. Les Parisiens are building a squad that can finally give the French giants the trophy that’s long eluded them since the Qatar Sports Investments takeover in 2011.
As for Mbappé, the forward now has one year left on his contract, and it will be interesting to see whether these claims lead to him signing a contract extension.
