Paris Saint-Germain finished off the recent season with several question marks at multiple positions.
Still, many presumed that the team’s starting goalkeeper role would not be an area the side would address considering Keylor Navas’ top showings over the campaign.
In a surprise to many, PSG has reportedly pushed to sign Italian and current free agent goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
This may soon put PSG in a notable goalkeeper dilemma over which of these two talents will be the team’s starter at this position next season.
Former French talent Ludovic Giuly sees that PSG will be in an “unmanageable” situation with this matter, which he spoke further about to Telefoot.
“It’s complicated from the start,” Giuly said. “Already, you shoot yourself in the foot, when you arrive with a second goalkeeper of this talent, to say to him ‘you will sit on the bench’. It’s going to be unmanageable.”
PSG is well expected to soon announce the notable free agent signing of Donnarumma.
From there, it remains to be seen who between Donnarumma or Navas will hold the starting goalkeeper role for the team this upcoming season.
