The ongoing topic of discussion this summer will be the contract of Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé. The capital club is looking to build a squad that shows their 22-year-old star that they’re serious about winning the UEFA Champions League.
Mbappé spoke to the media, where he made it known that he doesn’t want to talk about his contract. However, the PSG forward wanted to let everyone know that he’s not asked the club to pursue a specific player.
Canal Supporters relayed the comments made by Mbappé.
“It doesn’t interest me. I am here to represent the French team. With all due respect for PSG, that doesn’t interest me at the moment. The most important is the French team, and I only want to talk about that so as not to disturb either the players or the group,” Mbappé said.
“The only question I’m going to answer about PSG: I’ve never asked the president or Leonardo for a single player. I’m a simple football player; I have to be content with the field. I never asked for a single player from PSG.”
