Leandro Paredes is currently playing for Argentina at the Copa America, and on the squad’s off-day, the Paris Saint-Germain defender spoke to Argentine media outlet Olé.
The midfielder had an in-depth interview discussing various topics, one being Neymar Jr. The 29-year-old is currently dominating the South American competition. During the conversation, Paredes spoke about his admiration for his teammate and how the Brazil international plays football.
“I love how [Neymar] plays and experiences football,” Paredes said. “Looks like he’s playing with his friends every day. It’s incredible. With the responsibility that he carries on his shoulders – to play for such a big club and to be who he is – having fun as he does is something I really admire.”
As the tournament heads into the knockout stages, Paredes will have to put the admiration on hold since Argentina could face Neymar and Brazil.
