Video: ‘I Don’t Have Nasser’s Number’ – Paul Pogba on Contact with PSG

ESPN recently reported a growing fear within Manchester United that Paul Pogba could depart next summer. The 28-year-old has one more year left on his contract, and there’s no progress of an extension.

This summer would be the last transfer window where The Red Devils could recoup a significant transfer fee. However, the coronavirus pandemic has affected the finances of clubs. Furthermore, they could be patient for a season and potentially grab Pogba on a free transfer.

During his press conference with the French media, Pogba spoke about his future. Many clubs will pursue him next summer, and Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly one of them. Their relationship with his agent Mino Raiola could provide them with the upper hand.

Nonetheless, Pogba wanted to clarify one thing with the media; he doesn’t have the number to PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi in a joking matter.

“Contacts with Paris? I have one year of contract left. Everyone knows it. No concrete proposal yet; I didn’t sit down with the managers and the coach. I’m still in Manchester, and my thought is the Euro. I am focused. I have more experience than before; I am focused on the present, it is the Euro. I have an agent who takes care of all of this. I don’t have Nasser’s number,” Pogba said.
