Report: French Media Outlet States the Concern PSG Has in Juan Bernat’s Recovery Process

Juan Bernat suffered a severe knee injury last September, and some were hopeful that the Paris Saint-Germain left-back would return to the squad in early spring, but that wasn’t the case. Now there are some worrying signs regarding the status of Bernat.

According to L’Equipe (via Paris Fans), Bernat took part with a handful of his teammates in a photoshoot for a PSG partner three weeks ago. The 28-year-old appeared in crutches, and after a few minutes, Bernat couldn’t stand upright any longer.

The French media outlet states that there’s a concern with his healing, considering Bernat dealt with an infection following his left knee operation last September.

Bernat’s concerning recovery process explains why the capital club is expressing interest in AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez, considering the knee injury continues to hinder the Spain international. L’Equipe adds that the French giants could look for a versatile defender who can play on the left-side and center-back.
