Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain continue to sign right-back Achraf Hakimi, with the two clubs trying to convince Inter Milan that their offer is the best. The Italian club has wanted a bidding war, and they have one.
Both these clubs are more than capable of dropping a significant sum for Hakimi. PSG sporting director has prioritized the 22-year-old’s transfer; meanwhile, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel also values the player.
The capital club has raised its offer but not to the €80-million that Inter Milan wants. These next few days will be crucial, but as Gazzetta dello Sport (via Foot 01) reports, Hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk, who’s an actress, has expressed the desire for her husband to choose the French capital.
According to the report, Abouk adores Paris, which she frequents for her job and regularly makes extended stays. By transferring to PSG, the Inter Milan defender would allow his family to be together more often.
Les Parisiens could be receiving some help from inside the Hakimi family. If they can secure the transfer, then Les Parisiens will need to send a thank you card.
