PSG Mercato: Raphaël Varane Rejects Man United Amid Links to Paris SG

Raphaël Varane won’t stay past 2022 with Real Madrid as the 28-year-old defender doesn’t plan to extend his contract. As a result, Los Blancos have begun listening to offers for the defender since they don’t want to lose him for free next summer.

One club that won’t be getting the Real Madrid center back is Manchester United FC. According to The Mirror (via Mundo Deportivo), the France international has rejected the option of signing with The Red Devils and Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side.

As a result, it’s become clear that the rumors regarding the defender’s interest in returning to France, particularly Paris Saint-Germain, are potentially accurate.

Varane appears destined to depart the Spanish club. Suppose he’s not interested in heading to the Premier League to join Manchester United. Then, it seems that Varane could be on his way home to France. Unless another major club with UEFA Champions League aspirations decides to survey the situation.
