PSG Mercato: Paris SG Sporting Director Leonardo Met With the Agent for Joaquin Correa

Paris Saint-Germain could be in the market for a forward this summer with Mauro Icardi’s future up in the air and the capital club still looking to work out another loan deal for Moise Kean.

Nonetheless, over the last few days, various reports from Italy suggest that PSG has expressed interest in Lazio forward Joaquin Correa. The French giants are reportedly ready to offer the Serie A side between €35-million and €40-million

This interest in Correa has now picked up steam as Il MessaggeroLa Repubblica, and Il Tempo (via Paris Fans) all report that PSG’s sporting director Leonardo would have met his agent over the weekend Alessandro Lucci to talk about a possible contract.

Lazio wants to sell Correa to help fund transfers that will improve their squad for new manager Maurizio Sarri. The 26-year-old appears to be the chip that the Italian side wants to cash in to bring in a significant fee.

Should Correa come to the French capital, it will likely seal the fate of either Icardi or Kean not returning to Les Parisiens next season.
