Lazio wants an influx of cash to enter the transfer market and address the needs of their squad. One player that the Italian side is willing to sacrifice is Joaquin Correa, a forward Paris Saint-Germain currently eyes.
The capital club could be in the market for a striker, considering the never-ending rumors regarding Mauro Icardi and whether he’ll return to Italian football.
Nonetheless, adding Correa would bring something that might lack with Moise Kean and Icardi. At 6′ 2″, the 26-year-old brings height which might explain why sporting director Leonardo wants him.
When it comes to the possible price PSG is willing to pay, Corriere dello Sport reports that €35-million and €40-million on the table. A sum that Lazio wants for Correa. With Les Parisiens’ meeting the Serie A club’s asking price, they’ll beat out Tottenham and Arsenal for the forward.
If this sum is indeed what the French giants are offering, then it likely means Icardi will be on his way back to Italy. PSG is currently working with Everton FC for another loan deal for Kean, making Icardi the odd man out.
