PSG Mercato: Paris SG Reaches Deal to Make Achraf Hakimi Most Expensive Full-Back

Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly landed their right-back of the future as they’ve reached an agreement with Inter Milan for the transfer of Achraf Hakimi.

According to ESPN’s Julien Laurens, the transfer sum will be the Serie A side receive up to €70 million with bonuses included for the Morocco international who will sign a five-year deal in Paris.

The personal terms were agreed upon between PSG and Hakimi more than a month ago. Hakimi pushed for the move to happen, and reportedly so has his wife, Hiba Abouk. The French capital would be an ideal place for their family. Abouk is an actress and spends a significant amount of time in Paris.

Inter Milan initially asked for €80-million to let their right wing-back go. The sale of Hakimi would help the club settle debts that need to be paid by the end of this month.

Hakimi had become a priority for manager Mauricio Pochettino and sporting director Leonardo. Once the transfer is made official next week, the 22-year-old will become the most expensive full-back football history.

Chelsea also expressed interest in Hakimi, but ESPN adds that the European champions never made a concrete offer.
