Paris Saint-Germain is well interested in signing longtime Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos to a free transfer agreement, but club officials have now set conditions for this possible deal.

As noted by L’Equipe, PSG is more leaning towards signing Ramos to a one-year free transfer deal that comes with an option for another season.

However, Ramos wants a full guaranteed two-year deal with no options.

Ramos aimed to sign a two-year extension deal with Real Madrid but club officials never budged into his offer.

PSG is now essentially in the same position that Real Madrid was in, as the French powerhouse can either remain stern with its initial offer or opt to give in to Ramos’ demands for a full two-year free transfer deal.

The summer transfer window will open tomorrow, so it remains to be seen whether other clubs will look to jump ahead of PSG in the race to sign the veteran defender.
