PSG Mercato: Manchester United to Offer Paul Pogba Lucrative Contract Amid Links to Paris SG

Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly held talks with the agent for Paul Pogba, Mino Raiola, over a possible transfer for the 28-year-old. If these are scare tactics from Pogba and his camp to Manchester United, they appear to be working.

According to The Mirror (via Diario AS), Paul Pogba’s contract extension is at the top of Manchester United’s to-do list this summer since his deal expires next year. With possible discussions with PSG, The Red Devils are desperate to get a deal done, claims the English newspaper.

The Mirror adds that Manchester United is ready to offer Pogba a deal worth €100 million. The Premier League side understands that they’ll need to spend big to keep the midfielder with the capital club lurking in the background.

However, if Pogba and Raiola decide to reject this lucrative offer, it doesn’t seem like staying with Manchester United.

At that point, they’ll have to re-examine whether they want to keep Pogba for another season. If they decide to hold on, they risk losing him on a free transfer. Nonetheless, The Red Devils could grab a transfer sum this summer if they sell.
