Upgrading the midfield is another summer priority for Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The capital club recently added former Liverpool FC midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. Nonetheless, there’s still a need to add another.
PSG is connected to various players to help fill the need. One of the players that many supporters of Les Parisiens want to see in the French capital next season is Eduardo Camavinga.
The Stade Rennais midfielder has one more year left on his contract and wants to depart this summer. The French club had hoped to extend Camavinga and sell him next year, but the 18-year-old wants his move now.
Arsenal and PSG have long been the clubs expressing interest in the midfielder, but now there’s another competitor for Camavinga, Manchester United. RMC Sport’s Mohamed Bouhafsi tweeted out that The Red Devils have officially expressed interest in Camavinga.
Furthermore, the French football reporter adds that Manchester United will meet with the entourage of Camavinga next week to convince him to join the English club.
However, the priority remains to join PSG and stay in France.
