Paris Saint-Germain left-back Mitchel Bakker has yet to take over the left-back position since arriving at the French capital. However, the young defender has shown flashes of potential.
These appearances have caught the eye of Juventus. La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Canal Supporters) confirms the recent interest from the Italian giant, who is an appealing target for manager Massimiliano Allegri.
Furthermore, the agent for Bakker, Mino Raiola, is in talks with Juventus officials about a possible transfer. Still under contract until June 2023, PSG would like to claim €15-million for the defender’s potential transfer to the Serie A club.
PSG appears to be in the market for a left-back, considering the uncertainty regarding the recovery of Juan Bernat, who sustained a severe knee injury.
If Bernat continues to have a slow recovery process. It would be interesting to see whether the French giants decide to keep Bakker rather than selling him to Juventus, especially if they cannot bring a recruit at that position.
