Paris Saint-Germain wants to sure up its midfield as they look to add another player or two to the position behind Marco Verratti and Leandro Paredes this summer.
Eduardo Camavinga and Houssem Aouar are names floated out there, but one consistent name in the rumor mill is Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz. According to Italian football journalist Nicolo Schira, the capital club remains interested and is one of the targets to reinforce their midfield.
Schira reports that Napoli wants €50-million for Ruiz, who is under contract until 2023. One can wonder if this is the price for any club that isn’t PSG, considering Napoli has asked for significant sums from the French giants when they’ve expressed interest in a player from their squad.
The 26-year-old has made 128 appearances where he’s scored 15 goals and registered ten assists for the Serie A. Furthermore, Ruiz will partake in the 2020 UEFA European Championship as he made Spain’s 23-man squad.
