Over the last few days, Paris Saint-Germain’s pursuit of Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi continues to gain steam. Various reports suggest that the capital club and 22-year-old have worked out a contract agreement, and all that’s left is to pay the transfer sum.
As PSG and Inter Milan negotiate a transfer fee for the defender, Le Parisien (via Paris Fans) reports that Hakimi is already dreaming of playing in the French capital.
The Morocco international hopes that the situation regarding his potential transfer will resolve itself. The French media outlet adds that the prospect of working with Pochettino and wearing the same jersey as Neymar and Mbappé delights Hakimi.
Furthermore, the transfer of the 22-year-old defender would also show Kylian Mbappé the type of players they’re willing to sign to show the superstar forward that they’re serious about winning.
As transfer fee talks between PSG and Inter Milan remain ongoing, it appears as though Hakimi is like the rest of the French club supporters hoping that the two parties can agree to a sum that satisfies them both.
