Sergio Ramos will not be returning to Real Madrid next season, and the 35-year-old defender has reportedly set his sights on a new home.

According to Spanish media outlet Diario AS, Ramos’ agent has offered his client to Paris Saint-Germain. The report states there are various factors as to why Ramos would like to join the capital club.

First, there are old Real Madrid teammates Ramos is familiar with in Keylor Navas and Ángel Di María. Then there are other Spaniards such as Juan Bernat, Sergio Rico, Ander Herrera, and Pablo Sarabia.

Then there’s the prospect of being coached by Mauricio Pochettino, a Spanish-speaking manager, that intrigues Ramos. Finally, the location is ideal considering that Paris is only a one-hour flight from Madrid, so it’s not a drastic change for him and his family.

Along with PSG, other clubs in the Premier League clubs Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United have also surveyed the situation with Ramos.

Despite this offer to PSG, the former Real Madrid captain has yet to decide on his future. Nonetheless, there’s one aspect that Ramos does want in his future aside from money, a two or three-year contract.

It will be interesting to see if any club offers that type of deal this summer.
