PSG Mercato: Former Barcelona Forward Wants Paris SG to Sign Sergio Ramos

Sergio Ramos will be departing Real Madrid in a few days when his contract expires. The 35-year-old defender is linked to various clubs, but the one that probably makes sense is signing with Paris Saint-Germain.

Reports have suggested that Ramos has talked with teammates within the Real Madrid squad that he plans to join PSG.

Furthermore, the former Los Blancos captain wants to remain close to Spain should he depart abroad and the French capital is less than a two-hour flight to Madrid.

Ramos isn’t the only person who wants to see the defender join PSG. Former FC Barcelona forward Samuel Eto’o spoke to AS (via Paris Fans), where he commented on the Spain international.

“Will Mbappé sign for Real? I do not know, but I am a PSG supporter. That should be clear to you,” Eto’o said.

“Ramos to PSG? I hope that Sergio comes to PSG. If I could sign him for Barça, I would so so too. If he came to PSG, I would be happy, and I know that this would help us win the Champions’ League, which we have been struggling with.”

The veteran defender has a lot of experience in the UEFA Champions League, and winning the competition would benefit the PSG squad. However, at 35-years-old it would be interesting to see if the French giants decide to ignore the age.
