The biggest transfer storyline of the upcoming summer window will arguably be whether Kylian Mbappe plans to remain at Paris Saint-Germain.
As Mbappe will become a free agent next year, he will have the option to either sign a new contract extension deal this summer or opt to leave PSG after four seasons.
Amid the uncertainty regarding Mbappe’s future at the French powerhouse, football journalist Fabrizio Romano provided new and exclusive details to PSG Talk about this upcoming transfer saga.
From Real Madrid’s perspective, the Spanish side reportedly has the “obsession” of signing Mbappe, whether on a permanent deal this summer or as a free transfer next year.
Although Los Blancos have been linked with the likes of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, the side “only wants” to sign Mbappe to bolster its attack.
Real Madrid sees that this possible transfer move will have its difficulties as PSG stands firm it does not want to part ways with the star forward.
For now, Real Madrid will simply be waiting for Mbappe’s final declaration over his future at PSG.
