Real Madrid made a surprise move when it appointed Carlo Ancelotti to become its new manager. Ancelotti reportedly is already having a say in the team’s plans for the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to a report from the Spanish-based outlet Cuatro (via Le10Sport), Ancelotti is much in favor of Real Madrid’s plans to make a run at signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Mbappe.
Real Madrid has been linked with a possible move to sign Mbappe over the upcoming summer transfer. Los Blancos are in need of a revamped attacking unit and see that Mbappe could come in and bolster its goal-scoring output with ease.
Ancelotti would approve of such a move, but there are no guarantees that PSG may open the door to any offers for the forward.
PSG is expected to continue to work with Mbappe for a new contract extension deal, which will be a matter that Real Madrid will closely keep a watch on.
