Neymar Finished Second in One Key Playmaking Stat Over the Copa America Group Stage

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is off to a tremendous start in the 2021 Copa America tournament.

Over three Copa America group stage matches, Neymar recorded two goals and two assists.

More so, Neymar is well performing like one of the more prolific playmakers in the sport today.

Neymar finished Copa America group stage play with a notable 4.3 key passes per game average, which not only led the team but also ranked second behind Paraguay playmaker Kaku’s 6.0 figure for the highest average over the group stage portion of this tournament.

The PSG star had his way in creating goal-scoring chances for teammates, as was seen in the team’s narrow 2-1 win against Colombia.

The Brazilian national team is now preparing for a massive Copa America quarterfinal duel against Chile.

Neymar will surely look to be the catalyst in this upcoming match as he aims to feature in the semifinals of the Copa America for the first time in his career.
