New Report Reveals PSG’s Stance With the Possible Free Transfer Signing of Ramos

Real Madrid and Sergio Ramos officially parted ways on Thursday after the two sides elected to call off contract extension talks.

Ramos will officially be out of a contract on July 1, as he will then be able to sign with any club on a free transfer deal.

As noted by RMC Sport, PSG is pondering whether to sign Ramos in the coming months.

PSG does not plan to go all out and do what it takes to beat out other clubs for his signature. The report adds that PSG has no interest in meeting Ramos’ €12 million yearly salary demands.

Unless the veteran La Liga defender elects to lower his wage demands, PSG will remove itself from the running to sign him on a free transfer deal.

More so, PSG is concerned with Ramos’ recent injury history, especially as he missed a bulk of time over the recent campaign because of multiple injuries.

PSG is considering a possible Ramos deal, but it will be cautious in such a move as club officials see that this potential transfer would be a high-risk, high-reward one.
