It is well clear that Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is off to a disappointing start in France’s Euro 2020 campaign.
Mbappe finished Euro 2020 group stage play scoreless, even though he did have his fair share of notable goal-scoring chances against the likes of Germany and Portugal.
Overall, the French forward has been among the worst finishers in the Euros so far.
As noted by WhoScored, Mbappe has missed three clear-cut goal-scoring chances in the Euros, which currently has the forward in a tie with England’s Harry Kane in this stat.
Most notably, Mbappe missed a pair of high percentage goal-scoring opportunities during France’s 1-1 draw result against Hungary.
The PSG forward will have a golden chance to turn around his sluggish form in France’s upcoming Euro 2020 Round of 16 fixture against Switzerland.
Les Bleus’ coaching staff sure would like to see Mbappe score a crucial goal in this major knockout stage encounter.
