Kylian Mbappe had arguably one of the worst tournament runs of his professional career in Euro 2020.
From the goal-scoring chances wasted to the penalty miss against Switzerland, Mbappe simply did not have his way in this tournament.
More so, Mbappe had a difficult time as a finisher for France.
As noted by WhoScored, Mbappe totaled for 12 shots over four matches played in the tournament and only three of them wound up being on target.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward finished Euro 2020 play with France scoreless, as he simply could not put away his massive goal-scoring opportunities.
Overall, Mbappe has scored a mere goal over his last 10 appearances in all competitions with Les Bleus, which came during the team’s recent 3-0 friendly win against Wales.
Mbappe is currently facing plenty of adversity following his disappointing run in this tournament, but he does have what it takes to soon turn around his form.
