Former Spanish midfielder Andres Iniesta laid out a case for why Kylian Mbappe would be a more viable fit over Erling Haaland for Barcelona.
There has been much debate as of late over who between Mbappe and Haaland has what it takes to become the next best player in the world.
Both players shined for their respective clubs this past season as they each scored key goals in all competitions, including in the UEFA Champions League.
While Haaland has been linked more with Barca, Iniesta would still lean towards seeing the PSG forward at his former club instead, which he spoke further about to the Spanish-based outlet Onda Cero.
“Perhaps because of his characteristics, Mbappe would fit better at Barca than Haaland,” Iniesta said. “They are two very good players who are on everyone’s lips.
“We will see if they continue in their teams and do not change this summer.”
Even though Mbappe has not been in the rumor mill much over a possible move to Barca, anything can happen in the transfer market.
