French national team manager Didier Deschamps said France star Kylian Mbappe is well already at the world-class level of both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mbappe heads into the Euro 2020 tournament with plenty of expectations.
One could argue that the upcoming Euros will provide Mbappe with another test in his young career. But for Deschamps, the French manager is not necessarily following this storyline about his star forward.
In speaking to the Spanish-based outlet El Pais, Deschamps was asked about just what Mbappe needs to do in order to be in the conversation with the likes of Messi and Ronaldo. The longtime Les Bleus coach countered by claiming that Mbappe is already on the same wavelength with the two former Ballon d’Or winners.
“He is already part of this category for the things he is capable of doing, for what he has done, and for what he could do in the future,” Deschamps said.
Deschamps could receive more support for his claim if Mbappe goes on to have a standout Euro tournament.

In my opinion I see that after we had a big number of football stars in the history and till now in this kind of sports why should we compare players to each others cause each one has his style and character so no more references players to accord to them plus Kylian Mbappe is still young to identify his future like declaring him that he’s in the same level of Edson Arantes do Nasimento PELE when the 2018 WC terminated was really an injustice against pele more than evaluating a fair value of mbappe
