Although Paris Saint-Germain has its eyes on the Ligue 1 title race as they hope to beat out Lille OSC. However, before they get there, the capital club could win a trophy this week against AS Monaco.
Thilo Kehrer spoke to PSG TV, where he discussed that the squad remains focused on the Coupe de France final despite knowing what lies ahead next weekend. Nonetheless, winning a trophy and respecting their opponent is what the team will do for their mid-week fixture.
“Wednesday, we have the final of the Coupe de France against Monaco, and we know that there are two matches to play, with the last match in Ligue 1 and we want to win both, we want to give it our all and believe in it until the end,” Kehrer said.
“You must not leave any more points, you have to dominate the matches, give your all, and that’s it. We wanted to come back strong, dominate from the start, and score as early as possible and then close the match as quickly as possible with goals.”
