Video: ‘We Didn’t Show Enough to Win the Game’ – Mauricio Pochettino Comments on the Draw Against Rennes

Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 title hopes took a hit this past weekend when the capital club dropped points in their 1-1 draw to Stade Rennais. Now the French giants find themselves three points behind Lille OSC, who have 79 points.

Furthermore, PSG needs to keep an eye on who’s behind them as fourth place Olympique Lyonnais sits three points behind Les Parisiens with 73 points. After the match, manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to PSG TV, where Canal Supporters relayed his remarks over the draw and title race.

“It was a challenging game. I think, in the end, a draw is a fair result. It was a balanced game. We didn’t show enough to win the game, and [Rennes] played well. We are all disappointed because it was a game that had to be won, and we did not deliver the performances we expected,” Pochettino said.

“The next match against Montpellier? We keep going, we have to move forward, we can’t wait, and it’s our responsibility and our obligation to be ready for the next game, always.”
