Video: ‘We Are Sad Of Course’ – Ander Herrera Comments on PSG’s Second Leg Loss to Manchester City

Paris Saint-Germain is out of the UEFA Champions League, falling in the semi-finals to Manchester City.

The capital club had a 1-0 lead in the first leg, but it went downhill in the first half, and the French giants couldn’t come away with a positive result in the second leg, falling 4-1 on aggregate.

After the match, PSG midfielder Ander Herrera spoke to RMC Sport, where Canal Supporters relayed his comments regarding the second-leg loss to Manchester City.

“I think we were the best team for 70 minutes. We tried everything, we played well with the ball. We tried everything, we created problems for this team which is playing very well. We can leave here with our heads held high. We are sad of course, it is not easy to make the final and semi-final in two seasons,” Herrera said.

“We must not change how we played tonight. We played well. We did everything. There are always things to improve. We talk about respect with the referees. The referee said “F**k You” to Leandro Paredes. If we say that, we have a suspension of three or four matches.”
