As Paris Saint-Germain continues its contract extension discussions with Kylian Mbappé, many wonder if the player will decide to depart this summer. Still, there’s someone that believes the 22-year-old will remain with the capital club, Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp.
During Klopp’s press conference where Paris Fans relayed his comments, Klopp discussed the upcoming summer transfer market. The Liverpool manager believes that there will be no big money transfers this summer, considering that clubs continue to feel the effects financially due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The market will be really strange. I hear a lot of talk about movements of large sums of money, whether Mbappé leaves or not, Haaland, Sancho, that sort of thing. I don’t think it’s happening much this summer because the football world is not yet in the same place it was before,” Klopp said.
