Video: ‘Now Is Not the Time to Decide or Announce Anything’ – Leonardo on the Future’s of Neymar and Kylian Mbappé

The elimination from the UEFA Champions League against Manchester City is a tough pill for Paris Saint-Germain to swallow as the focus now shifts to the future of its two superstars.

Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr. both have one year left on their contracts, and the capital club is discussing with the players for a possible extension.

Nonetheless, there are obstacles in these conversations as Real Madrid continues to lurk for the 22-year-old. Meanwhile, the FC Barcelona rumors never seem to go away regarding a Neymar return.

After the French giants fell to Manchester City in the semi-finals, PSG Sporting Director Leonardo spoke to RMC Sport, where Canal Supporters relayed his comments over the futures of Neymar and Mbappé.

“Honestly, now is not the time to decide or announce anything,” Leonardo said. “We must be proud of what we have done. Our goal is to win. We played better in two halves out of four, we took some weird goals. There are a lot of good things. We got out of very difficult situations during the competition. I am optimistic for the future.”
