Paris Saint-Germain came into its Ligue 1 fixture against Stade de Reims needing a win and Lille OSC to drop points on the matchday in order to keep its league title aspirations alive. So far, PSG is doing its part as Neymar scored a penalty goal to give the French powerhouse the early 1-0 lead.
Following a handball by Reims defender Yunis Abdelhamid in the penalty box, Neymar stepped up to score a vintage penalty goal, which is the fifth such goal of his league campaign this season. With his trademark run-up and typical low-powered shot, the Brazilian forward once again fooled an opposing goalkeeper in a penalty kick attempt.
