Paris Saint-Germain reached the UEFA Champions League Semi-Finals before falling to Manchester City.

Ahead of the final against Chelsea FC, the competition’s social media account asked midfielder Kevin De Bruyne about the toughest player he has faced this season in the Champions League.

The 29-year-old didn’t hesitate to say that PSG’s Neymar Jr. was by far the most challenging player they needed to stop on their run to the final.

“For me, 100-percent is about Neymar. He’s the best player I’ve played against this season. For me, he has incredible skills. Fast, he has an incredible vision of the game,” De Bruyne said.

Furthermore, teammate Fernandinho agrees that his compatriot was the toughest player they needed to stop during this competition.

“I definitely think Neymar was the toughest player we have faced,” Fernandinho said. “I know him well from playing with him for Brazil, and he has such a good technique that allows him to surprise you at any time in a match. So you have to be so careful, and the only way to beat a player like him is as a team because individually, it’s impossible.”
