Video: ‘It’s Not Possible That 20 People See and You Don’t’ – Leonardo Argues With Referees After PSG’s Victory Over Lens

Paris Saint-Germain came away with a 2-1 win over RC Lens. However, despite coming away with all three points and creating positive momentum for their return leg fixtures in the UEFA Champions League matchup against Manchester City, sporting director Leonardo wasn’t happy with the refereeing in this game.

After the match, the PSG club chief had some words for the refereeing crew centering around a foul towards the end of the fixture on Neymar Jr. that didn’t receive a card or even marked a foul. The cameras of Canal Football Club caught the interactions with Canal Supporters relaying the dialogue.

“If everyone is talking with you, there is a reason. It’s not possible that 20 people see and you don’t—even your behavior. In the end, it’s always “I do, I do,” but you don’t! And in the end, it complicates the game for nothing. For nothing, and it’s not the first time it’s happened; every time, it’s you,” Leonardo said.

For those who need a reminder, referee Jérôme Brisard was in charge during Le Classique when he handed out several red cards earlier in the season and allegations of racial abuse from Álvaro González towards Neymar.
