Lionel Messi’s contract expires next month, and aside from FC Barcelona, the only other clubs that could afford to pay his salary is Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
Neymar Jr. last year stated that he wants to play with Messi, and the only way that can happen is if the 33-year-old comes to the French capital.
Former PSG striker and current football pundit Omar Da Fonseca stated in an interview with Foot Mercato that he wants to see Messi in Paris next season.
“Obviously, here, the red carpet exists, that he could have his photo on the Eiffel Tower very quickly, that there will be plenty of things prepared upstream to seduce him. And I think that other elements are also possible, and very likely, that they will go to the end,”
“Me, I want Lionel Messi to come to Paris. If he comes to Paris, you can imagine that I rent three seats at the Parc des Princes, I take a small gas stove, and I live 24 hours a day at the Parc des Princes. To illuminate us, may he still illuminate the City of Light. I want him to come tomorrow morning. I help him make the move!”
