Neymar Jr. has finally signed his contract extension remaining with Paris Saint-Germain at least until 2025. Despite the capital club keeping its superstar forward, the critics are already out for deciding to spend the rest of his prime years in the French capital.
During a segment on “After Foot RMC,” French football pundit Kévin Diaz didn’t hide his displeasure with Neymar deciding to remain with PSG. Diaz added that his extension signifies that the 29-year-old won’t attain the status of other superstar players like Lionel Messi and Ronaldo.
“I think that Neymar is now only there to enjoy his life and the most beautiful city in the world! He is in comfort, and he does not want to leave!” Diaz said. “He can no longer reach the level of Ronaldo and Messi.”
🗣️💬 "Je pense que désormais Neymar est là uniquement pour profiter de sa vie et de la plus belle ville du monde ! Il est dans un confort, il n'a pas envie d'en sortir !"
