The summer transfer window opens in a few weeks, and Paris Saint-Germain will need to decide whether they can reach a contract extension with Kylian Mbappé. The 22-year-old will have one more year left on his deal, so if the capital can’t prolong his stay, they’ll need to consider selling the player to recoup a transfer fee.

Real Madrid’s interest in Mbappé has long been there, and Los Blancos it appears as though there’s an agreement in place for the PSG forward to join the Spanish side. On the set of Late Football Club, Bruno Satin revealed that there’s a deal in place for Mbappé to join Real Madrid this summer.

“Indeed, it lasts a long time now, and my feeling is rather that he is ready. I had some little info too. Kylian and his family are said to have a deal with Real Madrid. Big info? No, no, just an agreement in principle concerning the conditions of the player,” Satin said.

“But it will not escape you that the agreement of PSG is required, and as obviously the Qataris and PSG have not decided to deprive themselves of Kylian Mbappé, he could very well go to the end of his contract and start for zero. History has taught us that when PSG management and Doha do not want a player to leave, they make him stay until he is no longer theirs. Mbappé talks with Real Madrid, but it’s not a scoop; it’s been years.”
