Keylor Navas arrived at Paris Saint-Germain with plenty of expectations, and he has well met them since then. The Costa Rican’s clutch performances in UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1 play over his two seasons with the club so far have made him among the fan favorites within the team.
Navas very well enjoys being PSG’s starting goalkeeper, which was well clear after he came to terms with the club on a multiyear contract extension deal. More so, the former La Liga winner is much appreciative of how he was initially welcomed at the club.
Navas spoke further to the Colombian-based outlet Canal RCN about his two campaigns so far with the French powerhouse.
“I feel very happy and very grateful to God because I really enjoy what I do,” Navas said. “For me, it is a privilege to work in something that I love, such as football. Being at PSG has been something very nice because they have received me with great affection, they have valued me and that is something that we all like and I feel very happy about that.”
Although Navas has only spent a mere two seasons with PSG, one could already argue that he is already among the greatest goalkeepers to ever feature with the Ligue 1 side. The Costa Rican has already won every possible domestic trophy with the club coupled with multiple individual honors.
