Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Angel Di Maria made history during the team’s 2021 Coupe de France Final win against AS Monaco as he notched his 104th career assist with the team. This broke a tie with Safet Susic to become the all-time leader in assists with PSG.
Di Maria has been able to break this record in a mere six seasons with the club. The Argentine’s total assists with the club are sprayed out among five different competitions: Ligue 1 (66), UEFA Champions League (17), Coupe de la Ligue (11), Coupe de France (nine) and the Trophee des Champions (one).
The Argentine has had multiple standout playmaking campaigns over his run with PSG. This includes his notable 18-assist Ligue 1 campaign during the 2015-2016 season. Overall, Di Maria currently sits at three different Ligue 1 campaigns with at least 10 assists recorded.
From key passes in domestic cup finals to a multitude of clutch assists in the Champions League, Di Maria has had plenty of impressive passes with PSG.
