Report: PSG Open to a Move for Conte if Pochettino Departs From the Club

Paris Saint-Germain would consider making a move for former Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte if Mauricio Pochettino departs from the French powerhouse, according to a report from the Italian-based outlet Sky Sport.

Recent reports have signaled that Pochettino is well considering ending his managerial run with PSG. A report from Le Parisien noted that Pochettino is open to a return to Premier League side Tottenham.

PSG is already looking ahead to Plan B for next season should Pochettino push for an exit over the upcoming summer transfer window. Sky Sport notes that Conte is on the team’s early shortlist for its potential new managerial vacancy, although the French powerhouse will face a challenge from Real Madrid and Tottenham for the Italian manager.

Both Real Madrid and Tottenham have already contacted Conte to gauge his interest in their managerial vacancies, the report added.

Conte recently parted ways with Inter Milan following a historic Serie A-winning campaign which saw the side finish with a notable 91 points, which ranked most among all teams within Europe’s top five leagues.
