Just days after completing his first season with Paris Saint-Germain, Mauricio Pochettino could already be heading out the door. Le Parisien notes that Pochettino is pondering an early exit from PSG, with Tottenham being linked for a possible reunion.
With new reports noting that Pochettino could possibly leave PSG in the coming months, Real Madrid has been closely watching the situation between the two sides. The Spanish-based outlet AS notes that Pochettino is on Los Blancos’ shortlist as a contender to become its new manager.
Pochettino joins the likes of former Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte and current Real Madrid Castilla coach Raul as early contenders for Real Madrid’s managerial vacancy.
Real Madrid’s board is much a fan of Pochettino’s work as a manager.
Pochettino has a mere one season remaining on his current contract with PSG.
