Kylian Mbappe is currently Paris Saint-Germain’s main injury question heading into the UEFA Champions League semifinal second leg with Manchester City. The French forward is currently dealing with a right calf injury, which kept him out of the recent Ligue 1 fixture against RC Lens.
Mauricio Pochettino spoke after the match with Lens on his confidence that Mbappe will be ready to go for the Manchester City return match but did not go as far as to provide an official announcement to the forward’s matchday status.
As noted by Le Parisien, Mbappe is well expected to make PSG’s squad list for the upcoming matchup against Manchester City. Mbappe did not take part in the team’s recent collective training session but is still projected to be fit enough to take on the current Premier League leaders.
Mbappe will be looking to help PSG overturn the current 2-1 aggregate deficit and move on into the Champions League final.
