PSG Mercato: ‘We Have Not Received Any Offers for Any Player’ – Rennes President Comments on the Future of Eduardo Camavinga

Eduardo Camavinga is atop the Paris Saint-Germain transfer list. The capital club wants to improve its midfield, and they’ll do everything in their power to secure the 18-year-old.

PSG’s midfield has Marco Verratti and Leandro Paredes, but Camavinga would formalize a trio that Les Parisiens haven’t had since the departures of Thiago Motta and Blaise Matuidi.

The teenager’s contract expires next year, and although the Stade Rennais wants Camavinga to remain another season, they’ll need to look to sell him this summer if he declines an extension.

Recently, Rennes president Nicolas Holveck spoke to RMC Sport (via Paris Fans), where he provided some insight on what they’re thinking regarding the future of Camavinga.

“If Eduardo can do one more season at Stade Rennais, we will not be deprived of it. Of course, if it does not extend, it will be necessary to consider an initial solution, but the priority is the extension. Everyone was waiting for the end of the season to find out where we would be,” Holveck said.

“We have frequent calls every two weeks or so. Now we’re really going to sit down with them and see what we can do. We have not received any offers for any player. You have to be lucid. The transfer window this summer is going to be very, very complicated.”

Camavinga has appeared in 82 fixtures while scoring two goals and registering five assists. Aside from the French giants’ interest, other clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and other major clubs around Europe have their eyes on the midfielder.
