PSG Mercato: Paris SG to Recieve Transfer Sum from Possible Sale of Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard

Odsonne Edouard has spent four seasons with Scottish Premier League side Celtic FC. However, with his contract expiring next year, this summer appears to be the perfect time for them to sell the 23-year-old forward.

Daily Record reports that Celtic is asking for a minimum of €23-million to let Edouard go, and it appears as though they have some suitors. Arsenal FC and Leicester City FC appear to be the two clubs expressing interest in the player and have the monetary funds to meet Celtic’s asking price.

Should Celtic secure the €23-million they’re looking for, they won’t keep the entire transfer fee as €6.5-million will be heading to Paris Saint-Germain. In 2017, the capital club sold the player to Celtic for €10-million, and the transfer sale of the France international could bring in €16.5-million.

Edouard has made 168 appearances for the Scottish club, where he’s scored 83 goals and registered 37 assists during his four years with Celtic.
