Eduardo Camavinga appears to be transfer target number one for Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The Stade Rennais midfielder has one more year left on his contract, and the French club could be looking to cash in on the player.
According to L’Equipe, PSG Sporting Director Leonardo met with several Rennes’ leaders, including Florian Maurice, to better read on the situation.
The French media outlet reports that the capital club would consider proposing players to lower the transaction price with Rennes, who had a transfer value of €60-million.
Nonetheless, the French giants aren’t the only ones showing interest in the 18-year-old as FC Bayern Munich has eyes on the player. However, the Bavarian club won’t shell out more than €25-million for the teenager.
Les Parisiens are moving aggressively in their attempt to secure one of the better young midfielders in Europe. As PSG looks to improve its midfield, Camavinga could be the centerpiece and potentially show Kylian Mbappé that they’re serious about winning a UEFA Champions League.
